When installing driveways and patios, we work quickly and efficiently, obviously weather permitting but generally, we aim to have you a completed driveway or patio in just a few days.
Below is a brief description of the installation process:
Here is an overview of the installation process
STEP 1. PRINTED DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
The first step is obviously the initial discussion where we can gather your requirements and expectations. This allows you to specify the best times for the job to commence and ask any questions or concerns. Being able to feel comfortable and confident with the person in charge of your new driveway is important. Although only there for a few days, it is important that you feel comfortable to ask questions regarding the driveway.
STEP 2 – PRINTED DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
Our driveway installation team will arrive at your premises around 8am (unless stated otherwise) and they will begin preparing the groundworks for the new driveway or patio area. The ground preparation is then begun. This is where we lift, or remove any old brick, tarmac, concrete slabs and lay the foundation bed. The foundation is an important step to ensuring a long lasting, beautiful driveway.
STEP 3 – PRINTED DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
The Driveway Installation team will put down the concrete in the properly prepared area and take necessary steps to ensuring the concrete is ready to be imprinted with the pattern of your choice.
STEP 4 – PRINTED DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
This is the quiet part of the job as the concrete will now need a day to set hard before we can commence work. Generally we will clear the area and remove any rubbish from site.
STEP 5 – PRINTED DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
Your new driveway is virtually complete and now safe to walk on. We strongly advise to keep vehicles off the driveway until we complete this final stage of the new driveway.
One last step is for us to treat the driveway with a final seal coat. this has to be done during a dry period to ensure the concrete is completely dry.
